UNIF Clothing: SEVEN Reasons to Love

If you aren't familiar with UNIF Clothing- you should be.  UNIF, short for "Ur Not in Fashion" is a Los Angeles based retailer for both men and women which has only been in business since 2004. UNIF Clothing has their own take on t-shirts, pants, jackets, shoes and more.  Themes include punk, grunge, death metal and a very dark approach to fashion. The line is very much inspired by music and underground culture.   From perforated tanks reading "Hell is so Hot Right Now" (I own one and love it), to their spiked leather "Hellraiser" flats, UNIF clothing is not to be missed.  I am a huge fan of this brand and I thought UNIF Clothing was perfect to introduce through "SEVEN Reasons to Love" for it's spirit and approach to street-wear.

1. UNIF Clothing has a distinct point-of-view and clear brand persona, below is a Polyvore board to convey the UNIF style (the shoes and plaid shirt are UNIF).

2. The brand is best known for their quirky graphic tees.
 3.  UNIF Recently launched their Holiday 2012 collection with a video titled  "Nothing Lasts Whatever." Peep it here.

4.  They produce KILLER shoes.  The "Hellbounds" and "Hellraisers" shoes put your overly-trendy Jeffrey Campbells to shame.
5. Their pup Nightmare makes frequent appearances on the UNIF Instagram and Twitter pages.
Shown here with the new "Das Boot."

6.  The holiday 2012 collection (which complements the video above)  is now available; below are images of the collection via Dolls Kill.

7.  Lastly, fashion "it girl" Cara Delevigne (among others)  has been seen sporting UNIF Clothing. She was snapped at the pop-up shop in LA in November.
